Last updated: 16 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of codedethique.com (the “Site”), operated by CodedEthique. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of the Site

You may read, share links to and quote reasonable extracts from our content for personal, non-commercial and journalistic purposes, provided you credit CodedEthique and link to the original article. You agree not to:

  • reproduce, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the Site without our written permission;
  • use automated means to scrape, copy or harvest content in bulk, including for the purpose of training machine learning models, without our written permission;
  • interfere with the security, operation or availability of the Site;
  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the articles, design, text and graphics on the Site are owned by CodedEthique or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Product names, logos and trademarks mentioned on the Site belong to their respective owners. WordPress is a registered trademark of the WordPress Foundation; CodedEthique is not affiliated with or endorsed by the WordPress Foundation or Automattic. Photographs used on the Site are either our own or used under an open licence such as CC0.

Content is for information only

Our articles are published for general information and education. They are not professional, legal, financial or security advice. Please read our Disclaimer before acting on anything you read here.

Third-party links and products

The Site links to websites, plugins, themes, hosting providers and other products that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, security or practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Your use of any third-party product or service is governed by that party’s own terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness or reliability of the Site or its content, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or free of errors or harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodedEthique will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content on it. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold CodedEthique harmless from any claims, losses or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CodedEthique is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
