Affiliate Disclosure

How CodedEthique may earn money from links and partnerships, and how we keep that separate from our editorial judgement.

CodedEthique is free to read. To support our work, we may earn revenue through advertising, sponsorships and affiliate links. We believe you have a right to know when that is the case.

Affiliate links

Some links on the Site, particularly links to plugins, themes, hosting providers and other products, may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the seller. This does not change the price you pay.

Our editorial judgement comes first

Whether or not a link earns us anything has no bearing on what we write. We cover products because they are relevant to our readers, and we report their limitations as well as their strengths. Companies cannot pay for inclusion in our comparisons, and they do not review our articles before publication. Our full standards are set out in our Editorial Policy.

Sponsorships and advertising

Advertising and sponsorship arrangements are handled separately from our editorial work. Any sponsored content is clearly labelled, and advertisers have no influence over our independent coverage.

Free products and access

Vendors sometimes give us access to paid products or services so that we can test them. Receiving access does not oblige us to write about a product, or to write about it favourably.
