Why update instead of writing new posts

Refreshing existing articles usually beats starting from scratch: it’s faster, can rank sooner, and search engines often reward updates. Install and basic setup (WordPress)

• Paste your OpenAI API key from platform.openai.com/api-keys into FreshRank settings.
• Choose an AI model from the available options (defaults are a good starting point). Test different models if you want to compare tone and accuracy.

Analyze content with FreshRank

• The FreshRank dashboard lists your published posts. With GSC connected, you can sort by priority score.
• Click Analyze Current Page or the Analyze button for any article to run a detailed assessment.
• The analysis returns a quality score, highlights problems (outdated facts, missing data, SEO gaps, clarity issues), and pulls recent web data relevant to the topic.
• You can act on recommendations manually or ask FreshRank to generate an updated draft.

• Use View Draft Details to see which issues the draft addresses and a summary of changes.
• Use View Changes to see a diff in WordPress’s editor so you can inspect each modification.
• Edit the draft manually if needed. When you’re satisfied, approve the draft to publish the updated article in place.
