If you’ve used the Neve theme, you already know starter sites give you a real head start: pick a template, import it in one click, and you get a built site layout to adapt instead of a blank page. Over the last few months the starter library has expanded aggressively — not just in volume, but in focus. We’ve been releasing templates in targeted batches to fill real gaps and match the niches that keep showing up in community requests.
Library growth at a glance
– The releases have scaled up quickly: 15 sites in the first batch, 35 in the second, and 48 in the latest drop. Each batch focused on missing niches and practical project types.
– Today the library tops 150 starter sites and covers a broad range of client needs you’re likely to encounter as a WordPress builder.
Deep, niche-focused categories
Health & wellness
This is one of the most detailed sections: solo yoga instructors, pilates studios, burnout recovery coaches, luxury wellness retreats, and dentist templates designed to put anxious patients at ease (for example, BrightSmile Dental). Each template is tuned to different tones and conversion goals rather than being one-size-fits-all.
Education & learning
Education templates now span chess academies, kindergartens, coding bootcamps, guitar teachers, and personal-brand coaching academies. These are the exact client types freelancers and agencies often find unexpectedly tricky to design for.
E-commerce
Beyond general store layouts, we’ve added character-driven ecommerce templates: a heritage winery (Maison Cortese) that feels like a wine label’s site and a luxury Arabian perfumery (Qaleb Al-Attar) that stands apart from generic marketplace themes.
Business & professional services
Templates now include local trades (plumbing, cleaning, moving companies) optimized for high-intent local search, as well as civic and government sites (City of Meridian, New Institution). There are also fintech and Web3-focused designs like VaultX that balance innovation with trust.
News, blogging & media
The media toolkit has grown to support diverse editorial voices: film criticism publications, knitting blogs, TV station layouts, and more niche styles like a goth aesthetic blog. This reflects the real variety of content-driven sites built on WordPress.
Community-driven roadmap
The library’s expansion is driven by user feedback. Neve Pro subscribers get a direct line to the roadmap: if you have a client niche that’s not covered, tell us and we’ll build it and add it to the library — often within seven days. Not on Pro? You can still influence what gets built by sharing requests in the comments; the most requested niches rise to the top.
Why this matters
The goal is simple: a library that lets you avoid starting from zero, no matter what client walks through your door. With 150+ starter sites, you’re more likely to find a close match that saves hours of design work and keeps projects moving. We’re not finished — the library will keep expanding to cover more specialized use cases.
